性质描述:

白色叶片状结晶体。熔点92-93℃。不溶于水，微溶于冷乙醇，易溶于热乙醇及乙醚。

生产方法:

将苯甲酰苯胺，N,N-二甲基苯胺和三氯氧磷的混合物缓缓加热，至反应开始（突然放热），即改为冷却，控制温度不超过125℃。反应平缓后，用沸水浴加热3h。将反应物冷至50℃，慢慢倾入稀盐酸中，放置3h，使水解完全，然后向反应物加水，析出对二甲氨基二苯甲酮。

用途:

有机合成中间体。
